We enjoyed Dave's Palms Resort rental at Myrtle Beach. We loved the view of the ocean from the rocking chairs on the balcony. The bedroom was cozy and the living room was comfortable. The beach decor was fun. It was great to be right on the ocean and go out for walks on the beach and hear the surf. It was a great place to getaway to relax.

Everything was as expected. The apartment was clean and well furnished, with everything you would want. The check-in process was just like a hotel and the staff were courteous and friendly. Free parking was handy right across the street and cool because it was underground. We enjoyed being so close to beach and took advantage of it everyday. Would definitely recommend. Bring lots of sunscreen lotion!

The only complaint I have is about noisy neighbors that would slam their door, and another that would smoke on their balcony so you can smell it.

The stay was great. The room was exactly what we were hoping for; the pictures just don't do it justice. It felt like home for the week; which was amazing. It was small enough to feel romantic. We will be staying again! The bed was amazingly comfortable and the pillows were amazing!

Dave and his wife were both very nice in opening their homes. Make sure that you read the book of previous guests. Its fun to see different comments and ideas they all have from their stays.

Overall the week was perfect. The view...OMG. The view! We miss that the most!

Amazing. Our condo was perfect and the palms resort was beautiful. First time we have stayed in myrtle beach. We have always stayed in North Myrtle. We had a wonderful vacation and will return to the palms resort next year. A big thank you to Dave and Shellie for making our stay a home away from home.

The unit was very clean and neat (the housekeeper deserves a raise!), and well-equipped with a few small exceptions. More dinner knives and some smaller size glasses would be useful. The bed is comfortable, the location is convenient, and the view from the balcony is outstanding. Watching sunrises was a favorite activity.

I want to express what a beautiful condo we just stayed in at the Palms Resort. It was clean well decorated and all the comforts of home. From the booking process with Dave to the check in at the Palms it could not have been easier. This was not a party place but very quiet and relaxing and close to everything, and enjoyed it so much better than the big resorts in Myrtle. We have been going to Myrtle for 25 years and this was one of our best trips. Highly recommend this condo.

My wife and I stayed in room 1404 for a full week and believe me , this rental unit was without a doubt well maintained and comfortable. Everything you need is there for your convenience. My wife is still raving to family and friends about the unit and the views from the balcony.she even raves about the comfort of the furniture on the balcony. If you have any apprehension about the owner all I can say is that Dave was a class act to deal with.

Our room 1404 was very comfortable, well appointed, and just plain FABULOUS! We stayed for seven nights. Bed was like a great big nest for my tired body. My husband slept better than at home. Small but very usable kitchen with all of the utensils and applicances needed. Well air conditioned and brand new Hot Water Heater! Ample lighting and fans. The view was breath taking. Lounge chairs on the grassy lawn just off of the outdoor pool was perfect for escaping noise of kids but close enough to take a cooling dip when needed. A very short walk to the sandy beach. The condo was very well maintained and super clean, but the overall Palms property, not so much.... Be sure to go to the Boardwalk on the Beach! Open air shopping, restaurants, comedy club, fun things to do. I could have staying another week easily!

This unit is absolutely gorgeous. From the furniture, to the wicker rockers on the balcony that looks out to a great view of the ocean, to the comfortable bed and pillows and the surprise when you take a shower. You will love ever thing about this unit.
